poem by Clement C. Moore
4 Stars

This is another beautiful retelling of Clement C. Moore’s poem The Night Before Christmas. One fun edition is that a little toddler is in most of the illustrations. And as I read it to one of my favorite toddlers he loved to point out where the “baby” was on most of the pages. And speaking of pages, most pages have an illustration worthy of being on a Christmas card. And seriously, the little toddler sneaking around is just adorable. There is one picture of the toddler looking out of some French doors watching Santa fly in front of the moon that is just precious. For those like my family that love Mr. Moore’s famous poem, this is one picture book that you will need to read for the holidays.

What to do After Reading this Book:
Hang some stockings by the fireplace.
Wrap a present.
Make a Christmas dessert. (Perhaps leaves some out for Santa.)
Write letters to Santa Claus.
See if you can name all the reindeer.
